What's your background in ultimate? I started on a physics department intramural team when I first moved here to Boulder, then joined a league, then joined a casual club team, then joined a slightly more serious club team, then finally found my way to college ultimate.

Favorite movie? Homeward Bound probably made the biggest impression on Young Katie

Favorite animal? Ants are crazy interesting.

Walk up song? Ambulance - TV on the Radio

Pump up song? Dance Yrself Clean - LCD Soundsystem

What's your favorite Kali memory? The finals of Regionals last year was so powerful. Everyone on the team was fully bought into Kali. We all understood our roles and what we had to do to help the team win. And we all wanted it SO BAD.

Why do role models matter? Seeing somebody embody who you want to become or living the life you want to live is tangible proof that your dreams are possible.

What does equity mean to you? Equity means that I never have to hear "you're good...for a girl" again.

What's your favorite quote? "Those who say it cannot be done should get out of the way of those who are doing it"
